Bernard Foley gives Australia a one-point quarter-final win

After a real nail-biter of a game between Australia and Scotland (35-34), the Wallabies have now entered the Rugby World Cup semi-final and due to play Argentina.

The Australian team began the match at a frenetic pace, recycling their ruck ball quickly and putting Scotland under immense pressure. However with both teams going nose to nose, a last-minute Bernard Foley penalty is what saw the team through the game before full time.

Foley has scored a total of 66 points during the World Cup, however he will be up for a challenge against Nicolas Sanchez (Argentina) who is currently at a win of 74 points, and counting.

One concern for our friends across the ditch will be for the recovery of prop Scott Sio who retired from the match and ended up with his right arm in a sling.

The Wallabies will have a seven day break before their game against Argentina next Sunday (Monday 5am NZDT).
