Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr reunite

Music 21/02/2017
After a tragic 2016 which saw the passing of pop heroes like David Bowie and Prince, 2017 is looking a bit brighter as former Beatles bandmates Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney reunite to record together.

On Sunday Starr shared a photo on social media of himself with McCartney in the recording studio.

"Thanks for coming over man and playing great bass. I love you man peace and love," he wrote.

The image shows McCartney with his arm around the old Beatles drummer.
Starr also tweeted a photo of the two Beatles with Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh. "And look out Joe W. came out to play what a day I'm having," he said.
Starr's new album is a follow-up to Postcards From Paradise in 2015. He last collaborated with McCartney in 2010.
