George Harrison performs 'My Sweet Lord'
Former lead guitarist of The Beatles, George Harrison, made his solo debut in 1971.
Releasing his album 'All Things Must Pass', his first song 'My Sweet Lord' shot straight to number one on the UK singles chart. He was the first Beatle to have a no.1 song, staying at the top for five weeks.
In August of that year, George and a number of friends put together a show 'The Concert for Bangladesh', a benefit fundraiser for relief efforts and awareness of Bangladesh refugees.
Performing his song 'My Sweet Lord', a total of 40,000 people, and raised close to $250,000 for Bangladesh relief.
