What rate per hour do you consider to be baselines "living wage"?
Nearly 40 percent of working New Zealanders earn less than what is regarded as a basic living wage.
Our legal minimum wage is currently $13.50 an hour, but unions and researchers are expected to put forward a suggested "living wage" rate of $18 to $20 an hour.
As Duncan Garner puts it:
Minimum wage or living wage?10 years working for Burger King and still on the minimum wage. Shit wages vs massive profits. @radiolivenz 3pm

Are workers being paid enough? Are 'profits' winning out over 'people'?
