While urban gardens are nothing new, creating a garden with little space always proves to be a challenge. Urban farmer Jodi Roebuck, owner of Roebuck Farm in New Plymouth, has learned a thing or two on finding new spaces for making his garden flourish.
Roebuck talks with Tony Murrell on the newest methods in urban gardening.
Roebuck’s newest interest? Microgreens. According to Roebuck, tiny greens like baby mizuna and pea shoots are easy to grow in a small space. In just a few weeks, you’ve got beautiful microgreens for a home-grown salad.
