Drive 15/06/2018

The daughter of a woman hit and killed by a speeding disqualified driver wants more done to stop repeat offenders.

Caroline Boyd was minutes from her Paekakariki  home when Nathan Lyon, a seven times suspended driver, struck her in a fish tailing Mazda RX7. A car he shouldn't even have been driving.

He was jailed for two years and four months.

Caroline’s daughter Becky Cooke joined Ryan Bridge and Lisa Owen on RadioLIVE Drive to talk about the incident, the restorative justice she went through, and her mother Caroline.

Listen to the full interview with Beck Cooke above.
