The on-again, off-again public speaking event from controversial far right speakers Lauren Southern and Stefan Molyneux in Auckland is, apparently, on again.
Promoters Axiomatic have confirmed that there will be an event at an unamed venue in Auckland on August 3rd.
Promoter David Pellow told RadioLIVE Drive that they will not name the venue yet, saying: "we wouldn't want to make it too easy for the bullying and violent left to intimidate another venue from cancelling."
Ticket holders will be disclosed venue details by text or email 24 hours before the event.
Mr Pellow says tickets have gone on sale on Axiomatic's website, ranging from $99 general admissions, through to a meet and greet with the controversial speakers at $299 or a dinner with the pair for $749.
Only yesterday it was announced that the controversial event would not be going ahead, and Mr Pellowe says media reports of the cancellation were the first he had heard of it.
The Free Speech Coalition also confirmed it had withdrawn its urgent court action against Auckland Council.
Ms Southern and Mr Molyneux are well-known for their anti-Muslim beliefs as well as their opposition to immigration and feminism.
In 2017 Ms Southern was detained by the Italian coast guard after she tried to stop a boat from rescuing migrants from drowning in the ocean.
