Classic album review - The Isley Brothers 1973 album '3 + 3'

Night Talk 23/07/2018

Every Monday night after the 10pm news, Mitch Harris is joined by Marty Duda of Kiwi entertainment website The 13th Floor and his newly launched online radio station Radio13 to look back at a classic album!

This week: The Isley Brothers were one of the great funk-rock acts of the 1970's, who were well-known for their early collaborations with Jimi Hendrix.
'3 + 3' was released in August of 1973, and features the singles That Lady, What It Comes Down To and Summer Breeze.

Tracks played:
- What It Comes Down To
- Summer Breeze
- Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight
- Testify (featuring Jimi Hendrix - recorded and released in 1964. Not on the album '3 + 3', this is the first ever studio recording of Jimi Hendrix)
- Listen To The Music
- The Highways Of My Life
- That Lady

Night Talk with Mitch Harris, 8pm - 12am Monday - Thursday nights on RadioLIVE and streaming live to the rova app on Android and iPhone.
