Classic album review - 1966 Bob Dylan album 'Blonde on Blonde'

Night Talk 27/08/2018

Every Monday night after the 10pm news, Mitch Harris is joined by Marty Duda from online radio station Radio13 to look back at a classic album.

This week: He just played at Spark Arena in Auckland this weekend, so what better time than to look at a record by Bob Dylan. Recorded in late 1965 and early 1966 in Nashville, Tennessee, this album 'Blonde on Blonde' is famous for being the very first double album. Rolling Stone ranked it #9 on their list of 'the 500 Greatest Albums of All-Time'.

Tracks played:
- Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine
- One of Us Must Know (Sooner or Later)
- Just Like a Woman
- Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat
- I Want You
- Absolutely Sweet Marie
- Rainy Day Women #12 & 35

Night Talk with Mitch Harris, 8pm - 12am on RadioLIVE and streaming live to the rova app on Android and iPhone.
