Classic album review: Elvis Costello debut 'My Aim Is True' from 1977

Night Talk 15/10/2018

Every Monday night after the 10pm news, Mitch Harris is joined by Marty Duda from online radio station Radio13 to look back at a classic album.

Tonight: English singer-songwriter Elvis Costello has become a household name after a stellar career that began with this cracking debut album 'My Aim Is True', which was first released in the UK in July 1977.

The album is well-known due to the fact the original UK release didn't have the hit song Watching The Detectives on it - this track would be added to the album for it's US release months after it's original release in the UK.

Tracks played:
- (The Angels Wanna Wear My) Red Shoes
- Less Than Zero
- Alison
- Mystery Dance
- I'm Not Angry
- Miracle Man
- Blame It On Cain
- Watching The Detectives
