RadioLIVE is proud to release a seven-part podcast series counting down to the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, a moment which has profoundly affected global politics since.

The First World War, often described as ‘the war to end all wars’, ended on 11 November, 1918.

The Death Throes of WWI podcast reveals a new episode every day until the 11th of November, where listeners can revisit the woes and the politics in the final weeks of the war.

This special countdown to Armistice Day is hosted by military historian and Massey University professor Glyn Harper and RadioLIVE’s Graeme Hill.

Jesus, make it stop: The death throes of WWI originally aired as a radio series on Weekend Variety Wireless with host Graeme Hill on RadioLIVE.
