Celebrating 50 years of 'Jock' cartoons

Rural Exchange 16/06/2018

Anyone who grew up with a rural background will remember the stories of Jock. Farming personality David Henshaw’s “Jock” cartoons are synonymous with the rural lifestyle.

This year marks the 50th year of Fieldays, and of Mr Henshaw’s loved cartoons.

The cartoonist sadly passed away four years ago, so his son Alistair put together a book that celebrates the comics and artwork of his father.

'Jock's Country' is a collection of all David Henshaws' best works.

Rural Exchange is giving away a copy of 'Jock's Country' next weekend. Simply text JOCK, along with your name and address to 3920 to enter!
