What it's like to drive the largest tractor in the world

Rural Exchange 04/08/2018

The largest conventional tractor in the world has arrived in New Zealand - but there's only one of them.

Farm Trader's Jaiden Drought was lucky enought to take the new Fendt 1050 500 horsepower tractor for a spin in Rotorua.

But his ride was met with near disastrous results.

"The massive weight on the front, you can't see that in the cab," Mr Drought told RadioLIVE.

"When I first jumped in it, it was rush hour traffic in Rotorua. I just about stuck it through the back of a nice lady on the morning school run."

Tools of the Trade is a regular feature on Rural Exchange thanks to our friends at Husqvarna.
