The new Husqvarna 572XP professional chainsaw is certainly making a stir across the world.
They’ve been building saws since 1959, but the company’s regional sales manager Steve Middleton believes it's the best piece of machinery Husqvarana have ever made.
"That's saying a lot, but this new 572 machine is certainly out there on its own,” he told RadioLIVE’s Rural Exchange.
Mr Middleton says people are looking for chainsaws that offer 'productivity, durability and reliability'.
The 572XP has great power to weight ratio which means it isn't too heavy, but still has the power to tackle the most arduous tasks.
Other bumper features including 20 percent increased cooling capacity, a new air filter and X-cut chain.
Overall, it seems the goal of this machine is to reduce the downtime caused by overheating, blockage or bluntness of chains.
If you're in and around Lorneville, visit Mr Middleton and the Husqvarna team as they tour the 572XP around the country.
Tools of the Trade is a regular feature on Rural Exchange thanks to our friends at Husqvarna.
