Women working in the dairy industry make extraordinary contributions across all levels of the industry. From strategy development to education and leadership roles, women are a driving force behind some of our biggest dairy organisations.
To help steer the ship, Dairy Women’s Network has welcomed their new CEO at this week’s annual meeting.
Jules Benton has taken on the role after former CEO Zelda de Villiers announced her resignation last December.
“When I saw the opportunity come up I knew I could really bring something to this organisation. I have a lot of experience in leadership development and helping people gain the skills and tools they need to do well at all stages of their careers,” she said.
Ms Benton told RadioLIVE's Rural Exchange she is looking forward to helping members make the most of the opportunities available to them.
As CEO of the 10,000-strong membership organisation, Ms Benton is at the helm of championing the Dairy Women’s Network and focusing on its next strategic step.
Chair Cathy Brown says Ms Benton brings a wealth of experience in leadership, education and strategy development.
“Jules’ knowledge, skills and experience are perfectly matched with Dairy Women’s Network and the role we play in continuing to provide unlimited opportunities for women in dairy,” she said in a statement in April.
