Lynda Coppersmith, the new CEO for NZ Young Farmers, has announced plans for a North Island road trip next month.
The trip will allow her to meet members in Hawke's Bay, Taranaki and Waikato.
She will also join 40 teachers on a 'Teacher's Day Out' event in Hawke's Bay on November 6.
Ms Coppersmith says she is loving her new role so far.
"I'm passionate about the industry so I'm really enjoying being back amongst it again."
As the Red Meat Profit Partnership comes to an end, the focus of NZ Young Farmers is looking for funding opportunities.
"We really need to get our ducks in a row and work out how we can make our model sustainable for the future," Ms Coppersmith says.
