Amazon workers being payed to astrotweet

More than a dozen Amazon workers are defending their employer on Twitter.

The tweets come after a string of reports were released detailing bad working conditions at Amazon's fulfillment centres.

But workers are not just tweeting out of loyalty to the company, although they say that’s a part of it - Amazon is paying them to do it.

The accounts mostly post replies to other Twitter users.

Gadget review: Amazon Echo Spot

The Amazon Echo Sport goes for around $200 or so from Noel Leeming.

The gadget is virtually a clock radio on steroids, that has the ability to play other things like music via Amazon – but that comes at an additional cost.

If you’re in the US you can even make device to device voice calls.

You can additionally integrate the device with your smart home including security cameras.

Should we be polite with our voice assistants?

We've talked in the past about how great it is to have the Google home?

In principle it's a good thing, although when you ask it to play a song and add the word "please" at the end, it confuses the search.

Google definitions and “use over time”

As well as looking up definitions in Google, you can click the more arrow and see a graph of how common the word has been over time, going back to the 1800s.

Pie, for example, dropped off in 1850 and again in the late 1960s but has otherwise become more popular.
