Research Director at Ipsos, Jonathan Dodd joins Ryan Bradley in for Graeme Hill to talk more Human Statistics.

This week we’re discussing the Ipsos Global Survey on Internet Security and Trust, which was recently conducted for the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI).

Ipsos surveyed 24,225 Internet users in 24 countries on the topic.

This resulted in some very interesting findings that Mr Dodd talks to Ryan about.

People are becoming more concerned about their privacy when online. 55% are more concerned about their privacy compared to a year ago.

Cyber criminals and internet companies are increasingly the primary sources for concern.

Surprisingly, 74 percent of those surveyed are concerned about their internet companies themselves.

Mr Dodd talks to Ryan about this week’s cognitive trick.

This week’s trick is a bit different however; it is often seen as an emotion rather than a psychological state. This is the Envy/Jealousy Tendency.

And this week in New Zealand, we saw fresh cases of measles in Auckland.  This has renewed calls from health officials for people to get immunised. Mr Dodd investigates misinformation and vaccines.
