What do people think about single use plastic bags?

New Zealanders currently use 1.6 billion single-use plastic bags a year, which amounts to 350 a year per kiwi.

Jonathan Dodd from Ipsos research joins Graeme Hill to discuss the single-use plastic bag problem across the globe.

48 percent of people Ipsos researched said shops that use plastic bags should be taxed more, but is this fair?

Cognitive bias: people’s tendency to blindly follow leaders... 'blindly' being the keyword. 

Mr Dodd says it's fine to a point, but when someone is flat wrong or propagating negative misperceptions it can quickly head down the wrong path.

Also, how mediocrity in business can suffice quite nicely.
