The origin of Easter, why we call food 'grub' and the difference between vegetarian and vegan.

Entertainment legend, national treasure, and resident etymologist Max Cryer answers your questions about the English language.

Max Cryer explains Easter falls on the first Sunday, after the first full moon, after the northern hemisphere Equonix - where the day and the night are the same lengths.

Why do we call food Grub? Originally meaning dirty, the word became to mean digging in the ground.

Many animals dig for food, Mr Cryer explains. 'Grub' turned into the food they were looking for.

Also, what is the difference between a vegetarian and a vegan?
