Exposure to agriculture needed to encourage young people into the industry


Dairy is New Zealand's biggest export, raking in around $14 billion a year, but the industry is at risk.

There aren't enough young people coming into the agriculture industry so Dairy NZ has started a goal of getting 25,000 more youths to get involved.

Hamish, Sarah and Richard spoke to Richard Fitzgerald, former CEO of NZ Young Farmers, about how the goal is coming along.
