Spring brings its challenges, but the most important thing for longevity of animals productivity is the first 10 weeks of a calf's life, as well as the health of the cow to reduce mastitis, ketosis, milk fever and any delays joining the herd  – all which have impacts on milk production, as well as commencing cycling heading to mating.
