Step in their gumboots before you judge


Some 4000 animals on the farms at the centre of the Mycoplasma bovis outbreak in South Canterbury and North Otago will be culled over the coming weeks.

While many may agree with the decision taken by MPI it is easy to forget the numerous farmers, sharemilkers, workers and their families will be adversely impacted by this call.

Helping these people out and offering much needed support and camaraderie is the local Rural Support Trust. Joining us now to explain what the trust is doing to help those impacted is Sarah Barr.
