Protecting children on farm with high vis clothing

Rural Exchange 03/12/2017

Summer holiday’s on farm are a unique part of rural New Zealand, so now it's a good time to focus on keeping kids safe on farms. Children are not small adults and perceive things differently to adults. Children want to explore, try new things, push boundaries. It’s fun to play on a farm, but farms are not playgrounds.

We are joined from the Avon Valley in Marlborough by entrepreneurial farming mum, Louise Wallace, who has a great focus on keeping kids safe on farm.

Rural Exchange with Hamish McKay, Sarah Perriam and Richard Loe, 5-7am Saturday and Sunday on RadioLIVE with Carter’s Tyre Service. Click here for all the ways to watch and listen.
