A hot topic at the moment is the lack of records when it comes to the movement of stock and the tracking of M. bovis outbreak across the country.
Duncan Humm from NZ Farming joined Rural Exchange to discuss this further, revealing that a poll on their Facebook page showed that 88% of people disliked the National Animal Identification & Tracing system (NAIT) scheme introduced a few years ago.
Co-host Richard Loe is on the other side of the debate, arguing that farmers aren't tagging their stock properly.
Mr Humm gets into the nitty-gritty, explaining how easily the NAIT tagging can go wrong.
