2648 Grand Boulevard Detroit is Hitsville USA and between 1959 and 1972 every Motown hit came from the Studio A in the white house on the left.
From Diana Ross and Smoky Robinson to Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson The Four Tops, Temptations and Marvin Gaye all went through that little blue door.
"We weren’t allowed to take video inside but I nabbed a few photos. The original Steinway piano that featured on all the hits was played by Paul McCartney on a visit and he discovered it was unplayable so paid for it to be restored. Michael Jackson left his Fedora and white glove to the museum."
