There's now an official Beatles radio station

On May 18th SiriusXM, an American broadcasting company launched a radio station completely dediecated to the Beatles.

Sirius is billing the station as the first ever to be "all-things-Beatles, 24/7."

The Beatles Channel included a daily guest DJ session from a well-known Beatles fan, a weekly airing of Beatles-related live recording, "name the song" quizzes and a call-in number that allows fans to share stories.

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr gave the approval on the station.

"I still remember the thrill of when we first heard our music on the radio, but I don't think any of us would have imagined that we'd have our very own Beatles radio channel more than 50 years later," McCartney said.
