A two-bedroom mobile home, previously owned by Elvis and Priscilla Presley in the late 60's, has sold at auction for a reported US$67,650 (NZ$95,264).

The 18.2 metre Delta mobile home was one of eight mobile homes that Elvis had on his famous 'Circle G Ranch'.

The 65-hectare Circle G Ranch was one of Elvis' favourite getaway spots, often staying there with friends to get away from fan and media attention. Elvis even spent part of his honeymoon with Priscilla at the ranch.

The two-bedroom trailer has been carefully restored to look like the original appearance when it was first purchased in 1967.

The interior features wood panelling, a small kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathtub and sink finished in gold lead paint, which was described as "typical of Elvis fashion".

The auction winner also received the mobile home's original paperwork, including a notarised bill of sale dated 1967, signed by Elvis himself.
