What did Johnny Cash stand for?
It's the question that has spurred a new documentary series, focusing on Johnny Cash's controversial performance for President Richard Nixon in 1970.
Titled "ReMastered: Tricky Dick and The Man In Black", the documentary looks at the persona of country star Johnny Cash, known to be the "outlaw musician", a die-hard patriot, but also a religious man and the grandson of a preacher.
But as America divided itself under the reign of President Nixon, Cash had to choose which side of himself he'd give voice to after being invited to perform at the White House in 1970.
