A man wearing a “Trump for New Zealand” t-shirt allegedly yelled anti-Islamic obscenities outside the Al Noor mosque in Christchurch Wednesday.
The comments were targeted at Muslims leaving the mosque after prayers. The man began kicking at tributes to the victims of the March 15 attack.
Adrian was among those attending those prayers and was distressed with comments and lack of action made by nearby police officers, he spoke with Ryan Bridge earlier on Thursday.
Canterbury District Commander Superintendent John Price listening to that interview told Ryan that they have launched an investigation into the allegations and that asearch has begun for the man yelling anti-islamic obscenities.
