Former All Black forward Nev MacEwan reveals all in his new book recounting his life story.
MacEwan played 52 games for the All Blacks, including 20 tests, and he has released a new book charting the ups and downs that have been the journey of his life. When the Crowd Stops Roaring, sees us through the trials and tribulations of the former All Black.
MacEwan, who turned 85 on May 1st, had a long rugby career through the 1950s and 1960s playing for Wellington and the All Blacks. He struggled in the 1970s becoming dependent on alcohol and was charged by police for theft and attempted suicide.
