Striking school students are planning to force the closure of Auckland's Queen St in the second planned “School Strike 4 Climate Change”, events are taking place around the country.
On Thursday Western Springs students performed an initial lie-in at school to practice for the action on Friday.
Ryan Bridgge on Magic Talk Drive speaks with one of the organisers, student Luke Wijohn. He begins by asking "Jacdina Ardern has already announced her big climate change law, so why do you need to do this?"
Luke explains that the Zero Carban Bill is toothless when it comes to what is needed.
