Karl du Fresne, former newspaper editor and media commentator, joins Peter Williams to discuss media coverage surrounding the announced abortion reforms.
The interview begins with Peter Williams wondering whether Pro-choice advocates have been favoured in media commentary.
Karl agrees and comments that there has been an absence of stories in the media of those who had abortions and regretted it and those who chose not to get an abortions in difficult times and are happy with that decision.
Peter then asks why have much of the discussion surrounding the reform been linked to the crimes act when the Contraception, Sterilisation and Abortion Act is the more relevant piece of legislation.
Karl mentions that while it is true that Abortion remains technically a crime, much of that was considered and explored with the introduction of the CSA Act.
