The Chinese government is praising Auckland University students who’ve stood up to Hong Kong pro-democracy protesters involved in a scuffle this week.
Mainland Chinese students clashed with students demonstrating against an extradition Bill in Hong Kong and Beijing's influence in the city.
The extradition Bill has been extremely controversial in the "one country, two systems" nation as it would allow those in the city to be extradited to mainland China for trial.
