The Queen’s former press secretary Dickie Arbiter joins Magic Talk Drive with Ryan Bridge as to discuss the Prince Andrew’s most recent appearance in media.
Ryan begins the interview by asking Dickie if he was convinced by Prince Andrew’s interview on BBc regarding Jeffrey Epstein, Dickie saying, “I wasn’t buying anything he said.”
I thought the whole interview was excruciating, he should never have done it.
Arbiter goes on to rail against the Prince’s interview explaining that his previous press handler advised against it and left over the disagreement and that Andrew himself did not appear remorseful and came off as arrogant.
During the interview Arbiter jokes how Pizza Express may have received some free publicity as Andrew claimed he could not have been at a nightclub because he was at a child’s party there.
He also mentioned the Queendid not appear happy as she left the church on Sunday after the BBC interview aired.
Ryan questions how smart Andrew is given his poor performance and strategy during the interview with Arbiter agreeing that he appears lacking.
He’s not the most clever bunny on the planet.
Arbiter also criticised Andrew’s language surrounding Epstein describing his behaviour as untoward, but it was the interviewer who held Andrew to account that Epstein was a convicted sex offender and paedophile.
