New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Australia Prime Minister Scott Morrison have been discussing the idea of a trans-Tasman bubble between our two countries.
Ardern joined the Aussies' meeting on Tuesday morning, where they ralked about opening up our borders to one another with no quarantine required to boost tourism.
But....only when it is safe to do so.
Ryan Bridge is joined by Madeleine King, MP for Brand (south of Perth) and the Shadow Trade Minister in Australia, where they discussed the benefits of a trans-Tasman bubble.
King says if it can be done safely, it's got a huge advantage for both countries. It will help tourism sectors on both sides, but also help strengthen trade links and keep business relationships alive.
