You may have seen the news during the week of the Nobel prize for medicine being awarded to those who identified Hepatitis C when previously it was known as non A and non B.
New Zealand’s Professor Ed Gane, based in Auckland is recognised globally as being one of the lead scientists involved with the development of modern hepatitis C treatments which are now largely curative.
