LISTEN: Julia Hartley-Moore is one of New Zealand's top private investigators, and she's got a remarkable story.
Hartley-Moore is dyslexic, she left school at 14, was a mother by 15 after being sexually assaulted, had twins at 16, and has dealt with divorce and faced financial struggles.
She was the first woman to own her own private investigation company in New Zealand when she returned from London in 1996 and started off investigating suspected fraud cases for an insurance company.
Hartley-Moore had no formal education and wasn't from a policing background.
She shares her incredible life story with Danny Watson and Leah Panapa.
