The long term impact of lockdowns on mental health

LISTEN: Off and on for the last 20 months we’ve been in and out of various levels of lockdown, as outbreaks of COVID-19 in the community have taken away our freedom.

While Auckland is hopeful of  being more reconnected with the rest of the country within a couple of weeks, it seems everyone is finding this time round, just that little bit harder.

Dr Dougal Sutherland, a clinical psychologist at the Victoria University of Wellington, spoke to Leah Panapa.
