Is the Volkswagen Westfalia Camper making a return? Well apparently so...
Since its initial launch in the early 1950s, the hippie-loving wagon has been an enduring classic, an icon of cross-country adventures and travelling in style.
Production of the vehicles ceased in back in 2003, but a board member from Autocar has revealed that the company is soon to unveil a concept Camper that would revive the classic van as an electric vehicle.
The modernised design will feature a small electric motor to power the front wheels, with battery packs stored under the floor. As for it's styling, Volkswagen will be careful not to change its iconic looks.
Is this too good to be true?
