A new version of Roger Miller's biggest hit, 'King of the Road' has brought some of the biggest stars in country together.
The cover of his 1965 hit has been sung by stars like Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton and Dwight Yoakam as part of a new Roger Miller tribute album, 'King of the Road: A Tribute to Roger Miller'.
Additionally, Kris Kristofferson, Eric Church, Travis, Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, Ronnie Dunn, Glen Phillips and many more also lend their voices to the tune.
"Roger Miller was one of a kind," his son Dean Miller writes in the compilation's heartfelt liner notes.
"He was as comfortable joking with the average person as he was laughing with presidents and queens. He made everyone around him comfortable. You felt like he was your best friend, though his lightning fast mind was miles ahead of everyone in the room."
