WATCH: Austin Butler brings Elvis Presley to life in new 'Elvis' biopic trailer

The film is set to be released in late June.

Ahead of it's release, the upcoming 'Elvis' biopic has a new trailer.

The trailer begins showing the birth of 'Elvis the god' and looks into the scandalous side the music icon and how he sent shock waves across America and the world.

The trailer also features Tom Hanks as Presley's manager Tom Parker, who helped capitalise on the mania, turning Elvis into the household name that it still is to this day.

From the trailer, Austin Butler proves he's got the moves and talent to bring Elvis Presley to life, even getting the stamp of approval from Presley's relatives.

Riley Keough, granddaughter of Elvis, was able to watch the film with  Priscilla and Lisa Marie Presley, describing it as a “very emotional experience."

“In the first five minutes, I could feel how much work Baz and Austin put into trying to get it right. That made me emotional immediately,” Keough said.

“I started crying five minutes in and didn’t stop. There’s a lot of family trauma and generational trauma that started around then for our family. I felt honored they worked so hard to really get his essence, to feel his essence. Austin captured that so beautifully.”
